This is the most appropriate time to be packing the clothes you, your baby and birthing partner will need when you rushed to the hospital even if you have a scheduled C-section.
Your bags must be packed by the time you are about 36 weeks pregnant.
Hospitals vary in their policies about what you are allowed to bring with you when you have your baby. However the preparation list for most private hospitals is more or less the same and if you in a private ward that accommodates you only. You may be allowed to bring a few more items from your home to make your stay in hospital more comfy and homely. Please make sure you find out from the hospital if they will allow you to bring your own pillows, small USB powered fan e.t.c.
You must, pack two bags: one for labour and the hours immediately after your baby is born, and another for a stay on the postnatal ward.
